Take a second to read this comic, did the creator use "Google" properly http://www.comics.com/comics/pearls/archive/images/pearls2002221161108.gif
Yes, he did quote "Google", but isn't this exactly what Google doesn't want people to promote? |
Just because Google doesn't want it, doesn't mean it's improper. |
So long as those cute little animals actually used Google to google, I think that's allowed... |
Yeah, Tony got a point, but how will google verify that em cute little animals used google for the search ??
This brings me to another question.. what happens in Second Life when I search , but say "I googled X" in Second life.. Can google stop that 'entity' from using the world google, after all its just an animated character!! |
hehehe Tony got a point
> Can google stop that 'entity' from using the world google, > after all its just an animated character!!
Hmm, sounds like a question for a hardcore trademarks lawyer. Can a fictional character offend trademark laws? I mean fictional characters can shoot other people and no one gets sued (in real life)... |
yeah, Second Life and WoW are all animated characteraztion.. and in fact web2.0 keynote is by Joi on WoW.. wonder how brands, trademarks are being protected in that space.. after all apple, nike, other brands ahve stores in Second life too..!! |
