Google Map goes global. You can view entire globe from zoom level.

This is nothing new, you could look at the entire globe since the launch of google satellite Maps.
With the ordinary maps there is still no chance do see anything outise the Americas.
For my home country(Switzerland) the map goes into a zoom level where you can recognize some areas like lakes or rivers. |
