Yeah its good to remember our Fallen Heroes and pray that all is ok for our current warrior's!!

In the UK we have a silence for 2 minutes at 11:00.

Is there anywhere in the world that commemorates at 11:11? In Britain, the commemoration is the "eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month" and in keeping with the armistice. In fact, it's on the closest Sunday, but it's still at 11 o'clock.

Today Veteran's Day(though it was celebrate yesterday) in the U.S., but no logo is on – strange.

this "Smart Answer" with info about the day in the US and info about Rememberance/Poppy Day in Canada

Google Canada also has a special logo today that runs a search for Remembrance Day.

Yahoo Canada and Yahoo UK are also online with special logos today.

Today, in France, it was just "legal holiday". Nothing more except some commemorations in front of war memorials.

Doesn't the US have both Veterans Day and Memorial Day? Aren't they basically the same thing?
