Enjoy the golden age of YouTube while it lasts. Sooner or later, Google is going to have to monetise and corporatise this – ads will become more intrusive, content rules will be tightened, etc.

That's my prediction anyway.

Yeah right. Yesterday I lost an hour or two to explore Google Video. I could find a lot of music videos, free South Park (even on the homepage in the educational section) and even things that should be hosted on PornTube.

Ionut, Google will also need to monetise and corporatise Google Video sooner or later.

Also, I expect YouTube will eventually sell videos just as Google Video does today. And the time will come when both services will promptly remove any "free" content that is derived from the "for sale" content.

So, let's enjoy the golden age of free and relatively unfettered internet video while it lasts!
