When will we get Linux support?
Btw, Linux already support transparency of windows, wobbly windows, 3D and much more for not a single cent.
Instead of upgrading to Vista without even knowing if your hardware will be able to cope with it, just try Ubuntu (for instance) on your PC.
If you need one more incentive, the Google guys are using it internally and they hosted the last Ubuntu Developer Summit.

Disclaimer: I translate Ubuntu in French on my free time.

Love the Transparency thing, there's a problem though, when a Window is Maximised the back of GD goes Grey, I want it to stay transparent :-(Apart from that Good Update.

I got the new version of Google Desktop, and the transparency effect is...ugly

Is this the first version where you can have the bar on the left?
I want them to add the ability to choose whether the gadget sticks to the top or bottom, the only thing currently is the search thing (which if there's nothing bellow it, it goes to the bottom).
Also some Gadgets have gone transparent, but are designed to be on a white back ground, so a option to turn the background on for separate gadgets would be nice. Google shows me something fantastic, and I find fault. (but I'm not welsh)
