A very poor gadget I think. Especially given what we have seen from Google Reader / Google Calendar / Google Notebook in their gadgets.
I would like to see a gadget much more like the Google Notebook one. Maybe browsing the documents by tags as an option within the gadget itself, and an option to sort between the spreadsheets and documents etc.
P.S. The podcast is very odd quality. |

Agreed, there's some weird echoes and stuff going on. |
Google Reader is probably the best gadget ever produced by Google. This one has some problems with the height (you can't see the two links at the bottom) and shows a limited amount of information.
Someone came up with an interesting idea: use Google Notebook to gather some info (research), export it to Google Docs and expand it. |
Was already mentioned here... http://blogoscoped.com/forum/76815.html

I'm getting the same problems, too. |
And I – sorry for being off-topic and sorry for continuing to moan – still can't get into my spreadsheets after two days' waiting. I need them for work! I know, beta beta, back things up offline – but this doesn't seem like Google. I'm not the only one: listen to all these poor people in the Google Docs help group: http://groups.google.com/group/Something-in-Writely-is-Broken/browse_thread/thread/86c06da15ee8f472/f1eb0cdf7c7c635c |
Sorry about the podcast – Skype was playing up, but not in a way that we noticed until we listened to the recording. I was hearing everything slightly after it had happened, so the end of my questions sometimes overlapped the start of the answer.
It's just a little odd – you can still here everything, and I think the content itself is still interesting.
GTalk just needs to get on and add conference calling! |
