Not sure why the links are a problem-- if you are composing an email and want to look at other mail, etc, just spawn the composition form into its own window using the handy little button google provides for that and then you can bounce around in your mail to your heart's content while editing...

Yes, Chris, also I can open a new window with Ctrl+N. But then again my browser already got its own function for doing all that, which is the why I am used to do it, which is to right-click a link to open it in a new window. It's not that their taks becomes impossible to achieve, but whenever default accessibility options are blocked, people start to work slower with the application.
