Just tried to access Analytics from my Google Account list and I get a ç=ç not found message in return.
Is it possible Google is updating something?
Does anybody notice the same?
I blogged it at http://document-dot-write.blogspot.com/ (German)... |
Oh dear! It looks like Google have messed up when they made a sweeping change to Google Accounts today...
I noticed earlier that all the URLs linked to from the Google Accounts page [*] now have the "hl=" parameter appended to them. As I'm sure most readers here will know, this is used to change the UI language. This didn't used to be the case. For example:
Before: http://www.google.com/analytics/ After: http://www.google.com/analytics/?hl=en
It looks like Google Analytics chokes on this, probably because it uses non-Google code for its localization and never supported this parameter.

Google is run by humans, and not Gods! Ouch |
Well, not completely by humans. I tried to email them about this and got this message:

Hmmm.... maybe I'd being blind but I can't find a link to any contact form on that page. |
Aha... it appears that's the *only* page in Google Accounts Help that doesn't have a link to the contact form in the footer! |
