Google Scholar on UK homepage?

I was at my brother's house last night, and I noticed that "Scholar" was on the .co.uk google homepage as a main tab. But by the time I had got home, it had disappeared.

Can anyone else see this?

Maybe he has a .edu mail address.

I see the link when I'm at the university network (either physical at the campus or via VPN)
