This speech ([PDF] http://services.google.com/blog_resources/bosworth_healthcare.pdf) by Google's Adam Bosworth is rather interesting.

It looks like Google are planning a collaborative web app for patients where they can access all their medical information, and where select medical professionals can also get access and share thoughts.

This seems like an interesting idea with incredibly large problems. Privacy being the main concern, along with getting Doctors / Labs, etc.. at a large number of different institutions to agree to post medical details to the internet.

Personally I think they are going to need a much more secure system than Google Accounts, someone getting into your email is one thing, but full medical details is a whole other level.
