The storage upgrade is very overpriced I think.

$500 for 250 GB for a year.

I pay $120 a year for 200 GB (and 2 TB bandwidth) with Dreamhost.

Since photo hosting is much more limited than standard web hosting I don't think the photo hosting should be more than 4 times the price.

To draw another comparison. At Flickr – which undoubtedly has a better UI, and much better organisational tools than PWA – you can buy unlimited storage space and bandwidth for your photos for $20 a year.

So if you pay Google 25 times as much as you pay Yahoo [Flickr] you still don't get as much for your money.

Ideally Google should make it free (like Y! Photos) – but at the very least they should make it say a tenth of the price.
