My Google Reader feed shows 25 or so Google Blog posts that have not appeared on the actual page, further research shows they are all official posts from 2004.

Did they just change over to Blogger in Beta and the feed messed up? It's kind of odd.

I'm seeing them too, often appearing on Philipp's "Google's Blogs" feed.

They all seem to be frivolous posts. Perhaps someone slipped and let out the stock of "cutesy" posts that they had stored up.

They're older posts – it must have re-triggered the feed or something weird.
