The first round of the Hommingberger Gepardenforelle SEO contest* is ending soon. At the moment, 2.930.000 pages are indexed by the big G; now only the Google sandbox effect (fresh links to a particular page, pushing it high up temporarily) could push new contestants into the top ranks. On May 15th (that's Sunday), the winners on Google.de, Yahoo.de, MSN.de and Fireball will be chosen. This blog is ranking in somewhere on 40 at Google.com, and is nowhere obvious to be seen on Google.de. After the experiences from the last SEO contest (in which this blog won thanks to many others, but in which I also didn't receive the prize money to pass on) I didn't want to ask for links for this contest anymore.
