I was trying to access the Flick Mobile site – at http://m.flickr.com – and it says, "You must use a Yahoo! ID to sign in to the Flickr Mobile site."

I've resisted merging the two accounts so far and was wondering whether anyone's experienced any problems merging the two?

BTW, Flickr says in their FAQ:

<< Please note that we will be migrating all independent Flickr accounts to Yahoo!'s network in 2006. At that time, if you have not done so already, you will be asked to create a Yahoo! ID (or link your account to your Yahoo! ID if you already have one) in order to continue using your account. We'll provide further details about the merge as the date approaches. >>

With around 10 days to go, it doesn't look like that's going to happen, does it?

Why don't you merge them though? I merged them a while ago and the process went smooth...

I just wanted to check that there weren't any issues merging them. I seem to remember reading that old Flickr users had a few problems when they first allowed merging the two accounts.

I didn't come across any issues, but I wasn't an early merger. Also I'm not a heavy Flickr user so maybe something went weird and I haven't noticed yet... but actually it looked like it ran pretty smooth...
