I'm writting my diploma thesis on the internet-blogs and would like to know to what extent the blog can be a factor of success for Google? In other words, why do you have a blog?

You do know this is not an official Google Blog? The owner is not even an employee.

That said, as a person interested in the Internet and its future, as well as Google, I find Google Blogoscoped one of the best resources out there to keep up on what's going on and to get some great feedback and interpretation from all the great forum members.
