to switch the ©2006 Google into ©2007 Google?
and i mean main and important services.. (cause there are still services Google didnt update.. for example: http://labs.google.com/gvs.html)
im guessing – a week..
you guys?
(they can start with http://www.google.com/) |
Should be fast. Too fast change also will make users lost their way. So I suggest Google chang a little publish a news, then after users understand, change a little. |
I don't think that it needs to change until new content appears. It's still copyrighted even thought it says 2006 instead of 2007 as the copyright exists from when it was first written. |
updated pages so far: Google.com Google Images Google Groups+Google Groups Beta Google Directory Blogger Google Reader Google Code Search AdWords
i just noticed that Google Calendar and Google Transit doesnt have copy rights. anyone knows why? http://www.google.com/calendar/ http://www.google.com/transit |
Home page (.com and .co.uk) has changed! google.com/ig hasn't though. |
The language tools read (c) 2004 up until about three months ago, so I doubt it will be changing shortly.
You'd presume that Google would use a script to automatically get this current year (eg, get the system date and use the year from that). |
Google base not updated (©2006 Google) |

Actually by US law you don't need the (C) symbol – your content is automatically copyrighted. It wasn't always like this, but the copyright lobby is strong :)
[Note: I'm a law amateur so I might get some details wrong – this is how I remember it] |
i think all (main) Google pages has been updated to 2007,except Gmail :/ |
Guess your not including YouTube: <<Copyright © 2006 YouTube, Inc.>> Although they <<are currently performing site maintenance>> |
