Re "Note this is a default Firefox feature"

In fact this isn't the same as Firefox's similar address bar trick. FF just uses Google's "I'm Feeling Lucky" button to jump to the top result. The Toolbar uses magic sauce to determine if there's an exact fit, and just displays the normal results page if there isn't.
