Is Google really thinking about creating a virtual world like Second Life the video game? Mike Arrington over at Techcrunch has some rumors about this.

I dunno, but it's quite a jump from Google Earth to a Second Life like game. I don't even see Google Earth as a good basis for an SL-like game. Maybe Google will just buy Second Life :)

Yeah, it is hard to see a Second Life style game in Google Earth. But its nice to see Google promoting more and more sketchup creations like their 3D campus contest.
