Remember 2005 -2006, there seemed to be continually product releases and related Google news on a continual basis. So far 2007, we are only getting mundane Google news, nothing major or exciting in any way. Seems like Google has to consolidate all the stuff they have been doing in the last two years.

This makes me feel that this year or at least by the beginning of next year, there will be some kind of major announcement from Google. The quietness must be leading to something....or has Google just lost its edge.
