Today google maps satellite is available also in Italy.

Satellite Images seem to work worldwide, now. It's feels great to be able to explore Tokyo, Paris, London and Moscow from above. The resolution in non-city areas is a bit lower, but at least the imagery is there.

just a note:
Google maps (and, of course, keyhole) show also normally "censored" Italian sites (like military playgrounds or industries) not showed in officials map sites (like atlanteitaliano.it)
It is the same for other countries ?
