No more Google Video blog. I wonder for how many months (weeks?) we'll continue to see Google Video as we know it.

I think soon, there'll be a shut down of publically being able to upload videos, but the "Upload" section just being part of youtube instead. It may still have a private area for company deals so they can load up their content.

When I saw this blog post I figured they just realized no one reads that blog or something. I didn't think of it as a kind of end to Google Video. But we'll see... on the surface it doesn't seem to make sense to maintain & promote two different video sites.

I don't want GVid to shut down :-(I prefer the way it works to YouTube, I'm not sure what it is but I think that GVid is better.

You can upload large video files.

There is also less screen clutter in GVid. That is were I upload videos to share.
