I liked the look of Vista, but didn't want to pay(prices are 65% higher in Ireland than in the US). Rather than using a Warez site or illegal Torrenting, I searched the web. I came across loads of cool software to make XP look like Vista. Heres what I've got now.

I just went to my nearest retail store that sells pc's with Vista pre-installed. I found two that were on display with windows vista ultimate. THE CD KEYS ARE PRINTED RIGHT ON THE BACK! I copied them down and now i have free vista. All you have to do is download the beta and punch in the cd key that you got at the store. I'm not even using it though- i just got Ubuntu linux and i plan to use that. I might just give vista away

Nice. Can you also get the 3D effect?
|
|
Yes you can get the flip 3D effect with software known as TopDesk which is included in the package. Unfortunately it is a paid program ($20) and the software that comes with the package is just a 30 day free trial with an option to Upgrade. Everything else is free.
PS. DPic, where do you download the beta?
