i just noticed this – if you search on www.google.co.uk , the urls in the results are re-directs, rather than links going direct to the websites.

look here:

hl=de&ie=ISO-8859-1&
q=google+blogoscoped&
btnG=Google-Suche&meta=

this does NOT occur, yet, on google.de or google.com
