I was after reading /pd's thread,"are there any twitters in here?", and did a google search for twitter. atfer getting to Twitter.com i could see no sign of what twitter was, so i did the search "what is twitter", without the Quotation marks, and got web definitions for twitter.

I thought the only way to get WebDefs was to type define or define:

So have you always been able to type "what is..." or is it new. You can try out that search here:http://www.google.ie/search?hl=en&rls=GGLJ%2CGGLJ%3A2007-02%2CGGLJ%3Aen-GB&q=what+is+twitter&meta=

actually for new Products I always type in < ProductName FAQ> this kinda gives one more relevant information.

As for Define: it works well with pure language sets, rather then new products. I see the the "What is .... " type of query, which makes it more like an NLP (natural language processing), which btw, would certainly make any SE more easier to use!!
