The GTalk Profile http://www.gtalkprofile.com website lets you find other Google Talk users on a map. You can click on individual profiles to find out more about the person's interests, appearance, homepage or location, and you can register & login to request the user's Google Talk ID. Note that this website is not new, it already exists since 2005, and just getting on some larger social network may be better to locate chat pals...
