I think this award "show" / contest is pretty interesting, in that it is a purely Web 2.0 version of a TV tradition.

The Emmy's is trying to get a piece of the online action, too – with the broadband Emmy awards:

It will be interesting if an old-tech organization can compete with a purely new-tech one.
