I don't think Google Labs will END. I think what you'll see is the current products get more features. Google was under the habit of releasing new products so quickly and throwing them at a wall to see which ones would stick. The products that gathered a following were kept alive and expanded on but the ones that didn't just stayed in Labs. I think Google's new focus is to improve on what they currently have out there. Instead of confusing the general public with a new service that they might not use. |
I used to check Google Labs every now and then to check for anything new, but don't bother anymore. As Colin says I think it's todo with their new policy of not bringing out lots of new products/services but working on/improving and integrating existing stuff. |
