Andy's article could have used some research first. We try to run a useful service and that costs money. I disliked the sub-domain idea from the start but it really didn't drive much traffic. It's only when someone wants to start flogging the hype that it even crossed our radar. Fortunately Jeff grasped the larger PR risks and google's recognized the value of continuing to list us. Hey, it's a new world folks, some of us are really trying to make a go of it without being sell-out bastards. It's hard but we're doing the best we can. |
