Yahoo uses the DMOZ directory title and description so even when the changed site is cached – it does not affect its display.
Does this mean that the Dmoz listings can affect rankings in Yahoo's organic serps?

How Influential are the TITLE TAGS in any new rankings of popular sites?

Apparently, the Title tags are the most important ranking factor – after the cumulative backlinks anchor text – However, the effect will be more obvious for less competative keywords
