This was the first ever forum entry in GB. May we all look up to Raster's wonderings and Philipps quick and excellent answer in our plight to post on this forum, and ultimately make the world a better place. |

But why is there no "new Blogsystem" or "new Blog" post? |
Interesting thread James!

And here's the link: http://blogoscoped.com/forum/48.html
However, technically these are older threads, it's just they had more recent comments so didn't appear to be the oldest:

stefan2904, good question. I've often wondered whether Philipp just started blogging on this day or whether he switched to Blogger from another system and lost previous entries...
Philipp? |
Actually, there were a couple of posts from before May 1st 2003, but at one point when I was going through the archive I made a cut and kicked them. I think it was just some days in April, and frankly, later I didn't really understand what I was writing about at that time, so I figured it might be best to remove it :) But really, the blog started out when I was too lazy to always manually add dates, link to from the frontpage, and upload the HTML files on this page: http://www.outer-court.com/tech/ So in a way, those were the first posts :) |
It's always interesting to read old pages like this:

Actually, I was searching for some XSL code for creating sitemaps a while back and stumbled across this in the search results:

And it was still useful, thanks! |
