I think client-side scripting is ideal for displaying web feeds, because when it's server-side, and is parsed into HTML, it's possible that it can be read as duplicate content inside Google. But if Google can't read it, then all is good – it proves that you've got it from somewhere else for a reason.

Seems like the beginnings of a response to Yahoo's Pipes, but less user friendly. I await future versions of it.
