You can give away old stuff you don't want and make use of other peoples unwanted items. Not very popular yet but i like the website

After reading the FAQ, I still don't understand how can I *give* out my unwanted items. Do I send it? If so, who pays for the postal fee?

if somebody lives close to you, they can pick it up. that's what you're suppose to do, it's not meant to give and get from people around the world

Local "freecycle" mailing lists do the same thing, very efficiently.

I recently got a free toner cartridge, and gave away some toys that my children have grown out of.
