I want to know if Gmail will eventually be able to automatically download messages from my Hotmail and Yahoo accounts?

Can I use Gmail to download my hotmail, yahoo, and excite emails

I clicked on something today that changed my gmail over to html from the normal format – anybody have any idea on how I did that? I could see it being useful.

In the footer (the complete bottom) choose Standard with Chat or something like that.
