I rar'd 30 Mb of photos to 6 5Mb rar files so that I could email them to my friends. But my friends with gmail accounts are not receiving any of the email I have sent. I get this message in return :

Remote host said: 552 5.7.0 Illegal Attachment

Has anybody else had this kind of problem ? I find it wierd though, that a compressed file should be an illegal attachement.

FYI : I used the lastest version of winrar, v3.50

If the attachment is a self-extracting archive, it might be classed as an executable and therefore blocked as a potential virus:
