Keeping with my trying new things theme, I am now checking more closely into Opera. Seems awful fast. Still learning the Norwegian navigation. Opinions on going to the Opera?

They have it in English, correct?
I tried it for a few days, went away, and continued with FF because I forgot about Opera :P
I think I liked it, but compatibility wasn't up to par with everything.

Opera passes the ACID2 test – that is awesome. A couple of friends of mine actually moved to Norway to work for them. I don't really like it though – too heavy for my taste.

I love opera but you can get it in English. my favourite bit is the built in torrenter. You can see some peoples favourite browsers here at a thread I made about battle of the browsers where people voted on their favourite browsers.I can't find it now so I think it waas deleted for some reason.
There is also more info about browsers here: http://blogoscoped.com/forum/75796.html

"the Norwegian navigation"

I think Brinke wanted to say he learns how to use Opera (which happens to be built mainly in Oslo). If you look closely here (http://www.opera.com/download/), there's no Norwegian version: 2 US installers and an international one that includes all the translations.

Opera is very good and has A LOT of features (email client, RSS reader, IRC, BitTorrent, widgets, notes, mouse gestures, page zoom, fast loading from cache, fit page to width), it's very fast, uses much less memory than Firefox and includes most of the popular Firefox extensions natively. There are some problems with the JavaScript implementation and some sites that use AJAX might not load well. Other sites detect Opera and block it because the devs didn't have time to test it or fix the issues with Opera (like Google Calendar, Google Docs etc.)

I wasn't sure what he meant Ionut.

Anyway I found the browsers page I was looking for http://blogoscoped.com/forum/92689.html

Browsers I use.
PC/Laptop: Firefox
School: IE (There's nothing else)
Wii/DS: Opera (There's nothing else)

I have used Opera on PC as well, but never mannaged to stay with it, I was too used to Firefox, and before that IE but the switch from IE to Firefox was easy for me as there wasn't anything (apart from IE only sites) that I was worried about loosing!
