Check it out, you can now embed slideshows from Picasaweb into your blog / MySpace / web page. Very nice, I've been hoping for something like this.

Oh! The AJAX Search blog has announced a tool that will let you create slideshows quite like the Picasa Web ones based on any media RSS feed. Nice!

That was the slideshow feature that was available from the beginning in Picasa Web. But it's too big and clumsy to add it to a blog.

You're right it's not exactly the same :)
