I see two different urls for youtube: Traditional: ww.youtube.com/watch?v=omf-10zLeJU Redirection to swf: www.youtube.com/v/4ovdidUmk20
This new form of link to youtube is a bug or a feature?
The interesting thing is that it has a iurl parameter that point to thumbnail appears at google results http://img.youtube.com/vi/4ovdidUmk20/2.jpg
http://img.youtube.com/ returns google 404 differs from youtube error page. img.youtube is a google server

Bug or feature? AFAIK, the "www.youtube.com/v/4ovdidUmk20" format is from the embed code, so it contains the player without much context. I'm not sure that's the page Google wants to point to in their results.... |
I think this demonstrates that Google takes this information indexing the web, not from YouTube database directly, it's more democratic than takes entire database |
