It will probably be an IM client similar to Yahoo where itll allow users to make calls to one another but will probably take it a step further and allow users to make calls to landline/cellphone calls. Googles got to make their software stand out of the pack and dominate from the start as theyve started to do with Desktop Search. |
I agree with tershania. I think they'll focus on promoting some sort of VOIP application that also functions as an instant messenger program (rather than an IM application that also does VOIP).
Or maybe they'll finally release their own Machine Translation tool...? |
Or maybe they'll merge the two – i.e Instant Messenger + Machine Translation – producing something like http://www.chattranslator.com where people can "chat" to each other using their own language? |
