There is a new religion out. Googlism! At http://thechurchofgoogle.org you can join the religion etc. I'm too tired to post some funny bits but the forum is good.

This has been around for quite a while and gained quite a few negative comments from people of other faiths. I think Google is fantastic and is a pioneer in not only search but business (Google's approach to management is far different from the norm).

So freak. I really like Google, but from good-entity to God, ... there's a gap.

Just read their hatemail section. Heh. Who can resist hatemail? :D

Anyone who really believes Google is God is sad, but anyone that actually thinks the site is serious is sadder.

Back then, there was no direct way to connect a comment to a specific forum thread (in fact when the blog started out there was no way to add comments at all, so there was only the email link :)).

Philipp Lenssen:

I was in Mudanijang , China, in Oct. 2005, 100 miles from the russian border.
I could access any American site I wanted to on the itnernet at an internet cafe. I even made football bets on the internet in China..so there was not censorship as to where I could go on the itnernet, but i spoke and read in english. Most Chinese people do not know the american web sites, google.com,e tc....
so if they do not know , and are not taught this in school, then it does not exist for them, and that is censorship
