A nice way to predict where Google is heading, like Ruscoe's robots.txt monitoring, is to regularly check out Google's Career site.

They are turning up the heat on Radio Ads this side of the big old pond. Considering they're still recruiting, it's likely to be a year away or so still, a bit like how Google Checkout came here delayed too.

From browsing many of the job opportunities across Europe you can get a pretty good picture of what each office is all about. Some are more marketing orientated, other way more tech. Perhaps someone could map out the offices by such "genres" one day.

From the South Africa listings it seems they are ready to establish themselves there big time too.

I know in the US they recruit in adventurous ways regularly, has anyone seen similar efforts offline in Europe?
