Yahoo! purchased Rivals.com today for an undisclosed amount. This is the first acquisition since the CEO change at Yahoo!. The deal was in the works prior to Terry Semel leaving the company though.

It would have been funnyto call this "Yahoo buys rivals". Everyone would think they acquired Google and MS
