Flash Earth

Paul Neave is using Flash to show off Google Earth/ Google Maps (or MSN Virtual Earth) with fluid zooming. Very impressive. The source is available on the site if you’re interested. Paul writes:

“This started as a project to see if Google Maps could be made better using Flash – and it ended up exceeding my own expectations.”

I wonder, would this be possible in DHTML?
