Yahoo releases Open Shortcuts, a way to create your own customized search shortcuts. All custom shortcuts are prefixed with an exclamation mark, like !amazon (which searches Amazon).
To add your own shortcut, sign in to your Yahoo account, then type e.g. !set blogoscoped http://blog.outer-court.com/search.php?q=%s, which would search Google Blogoscoped whenever you type !blogoscoped keyword. Or, type !set watx weather austin texas to search for “weather austin texas” whenever you type !watx into Yahoo.
To view all your shortcuts, type !list (and to delete one, type !unset).
