Google AdSense Referrals Now 180 Days

I suppose Google have been reading along the criticism they got for sneaking in a “90 days” clause to their AdSense referral program – meaning someone you refer to AdSense must make $100 in the first 90 days to make you $100 as well. They’ve now extended the program to 180 days, as German Blogging Tom notes.

Extending the time span is a step in the right direction, but I think its still not enough for most webmasters/ bloggers to warm up to this program. Give me a life-time chance to make $100 and I’ll think about it again... otherwise, the chance of a referral making that much is too slim. Cashing in $100 with AdSense is not trivial, unless you have huge sites already – and which webmaster with huge sites still doesn’t use AdSense or at least played around with it as an option?
