Yahoo Local UK, Germany Launched

Yahoo went live with a new local search for Germany and UK & Ireland. Yahoo in their help says:

Yahoo! Local helps you find the things you need in your neighbourhood and beyond. It gives you the names and numbers of local services and businesses and it also shows you information related to them.

Note that the maps shown on the pages are static by default... switch to “Dynamic map” via the upper right link to scroll the map, to zoom using the mousewheel, or to show place information by right-clicking.

For the US, there’s already the default Yahoo Local.
