Google AdSense Optimization Reports

Google AdSense started to roll out optimization reports. Log-in to your account and you may find a list of automated messages. For example, I received these two tips:

Here is your optimization report for the month of April. After an automatic review of your sites, we think you might be able to improve your monetization using the following tips:

Placing more than one ad unit on a page often generates more revenue.
Many of your sites only contain one ad unit.
How can I fix this?   Dismiss this tip.

You may be filtering ads that monetize well on your site.
How can I fix this?   Dismiss this tip.

We hope these tips are helpful, and encourage you to experiment using different layouts and formats – no two sites monetize the same way!

These tips don’t mention which of your channels/ domains might have the issue, though.

Strangely enough, the AdSense homepage is completely useless to me (the daily total earnings show, but as the day didn’t end yet they don’t indicate anything of interest to me) and I always click through to the “this month, by day” link. I wonder if others find it more useful...
