Best of Google Street View

Aliens among us (or just the reflection of a flash light)...

Several sites now feature sort-of “best of photo galleries” with links to or pictures taken from Google Maps’ (amazing) new Street View feature. You’ll see sunbathing people, official Google “easter eggs,” police investigations in process – in fact, one has been removed by Google and is now showing a white-on-black message saying so (gallery sites better make local backups) – as well as random other photo oddities. Roger Browne in the meanwhile asks, “How long before Google starts replacing images of real-life billboards with their own ads?”
