A Giant Robot...

... connected over long tubes to people from afar, who can all speak their questions into the tube, at the same time, questions which will then make it over the tube into the mechanic belly of the robot, who is both master and servant and will, in return, through nothing but mechanical magic, voice an answer to the people.
