Enable Auto-Complete on Google Homepage

Spotted by Ionut Martin Porcheron, Google lets you add the auto-complete feature to the Google.com homepage. Just log-in and visit the Experimental Search homepage, and click on “Join this experiment” next to the “Keyword suggestions” section. With auto-completion on, you can see the search box expand to a list of popular queries as you type.

Google’s experimental search is a way for Google to get feedback on prototypical search features, like viewing results on a timeline. You cannot join several experiments at this time.

I’m not sure how new keyboard shortcuts are, but can see they’re available since at least last Thursday, and they weren’t part of Experimental in August this year. Some individual Google homepages, like Google China, already have auto-complete enabled by default.
