Ex-Google Employee Paul Buchheit On the Merits of Prototyping (and His Involvement in the Precursor to AdSense)

Paul Buchheit, who says he came up with the first prototype for content targeted ads when working at Google’s Gmail, in an interesting blog post emphasizes how hacking up a quick prototype can be important to a product – maybe even more important than slick theoretical PowerPoints describing future features.
